Responsible for processing financial transactions and procurement documents for capital facilities (CAP) projects and bond funded projects. Processes documents related to accounts payable, accounts receivable, bonds, purchase orders, financial contracts, and change orders. Responsible for the preparation of project accounting entries and financial activities related to operating and capital funds, and reporting for up to 500 open projects typically valued up to $100 million. Assists in the maintenance of bond and debt service accounting for bond-funded projects. Ensures integrity and accuracy of the financial records by performing detailed reconciliations, identifying errors, and preparing correcting entries. Participates in the year-end closing process, including accruals and reconciliations.
