Genetically engineered immune cells are saving the lives of cancer patients. That may be just the start.
A biotechnology company located on the East Side of Manhattan owned the cancer treatment, which it had devised using a gene-editing method called TALENs, a way of making cuts and fixes to DNA in living cells. Chemotherapy may ease cancer symptoms, control the malignancy, or cure the cancer.Chemotherapy is used in combination with another technique (like radiation therapy), it is called adjuvant chemotherapy. Biotechnology companies are developing new chemotherapy drugs, including targeted therapies.

Robots That Teach Each Other, Google's Deep Mind Explained!
DeepMind Technologies's goal is to "solve intelligence", which they are trying to achieve by combining "the best techniques from machine learning and systems neuroscience to build powerful general-purpose learning algorithms"
They are trying to formalize intelligence in order to not only implement it into machines, but also understand the human brain. As opposed to other AI's, such as IBM's Deep Blue or Watson, which were developed for a pre-defined purpose and only function within it's scope, DeepMind claims that their system is not pre-programmed: it learns from experience, using only raw pixels as data input. Technically it uses deep learning on a convolutional neural network, with a novel form of Q-learning, a form of model-free reinforcement learning. They test the system on video games, notably early arcade games, such as Space Invaders or Breakout. Without altering the code, the AI begins to understand how to play the game, and after some time it plays, a more efficient game than any human ever could.
Tesla Autopilot. Autonomous driving a reality
The software update was officially named Tesla Version 7.0, but its nickname Autopilot.
It did in fact give drivers something similar to what airline pilots employ in flight. The car could manage its speed, steer within and even change lanes, and park itself. Some of these features, like automatic parallel parking, were already on offer from other car companies (including Mercedes, BMW, and General Motors), but the self-steering was suddenly, overnight, via a software update, a giant leap toward full autonomy.
